The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed with regard to the superior amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The support point developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help read more the servicing of all customers status sassa and improve entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
